And I planted some more...

I still haven't been able to get my hands on any Gerbera daisy seeds, but I did stop at Fleet Farm and buy some more seeds today.  I did four more jugs and nine more little pots of seeds.

The four jugs are all perennial ornamental grasses.  Two of the jugs have Little Blue Stem, and the other two are Deschapsia and Coolio.

I did three little pots each of Pyrethrum daisies, Bee Balm and Black Eyed Susan.  I think I'm going to have to break down and pay to have Gerbera daisy seeds shipped.  It's still cheaper than buying the plants and I can get more seeds.

I'm pretty excited because I think I am going to redo the beds we have at work.  They get absolutely no direct sun and are currently filled with cocoa bean mulch.  The city made us put them in when the building was built and I have no idea why.  They are completely surrounded by concrete and brick, and are under a 10' wide overhang.  Stupid, but that's what Oshkosh does.  I think I am going to plant pachysandra - plain green and variegated to mix it up.  I'm figuring I will need at least 30 plants per bed, but they are pretty hardy and should do ok in the shade.  Now I get to see where I can get the plants the cheapest.

The calendar says 3 weeks to the start of spring, I can't wait!
